Your Contribution, Our Future

For over 75 years, Plymouth Place has been deeply committed to enhancing the lives of older adults through excellence and social impact. With a 5-STAR-rated health care center and recognition as a top 500 Nursing Home by U.S. News & World Report, our clinical care is second-to-none. Our residents enjoy award-winning life enrichment programming delivered by creative, compassionate professionals. Being named a Great Place to Work® by Fortune Magazine is a testament that our mission to serve with excellence extends to our associates. Plymouth Place is proud to honor our residents in this chapter of their lives, support our frontline heroes' education through our scholarship program, and give back to the broader community surrounding us through a variety of cutting-edge programs.

Amazing things happen every day at Plymouth Place, and your contribution enables us to ensure a bright future for our community and all those we serve.

Here are the ways you can support our mission:

Unrestricted Gift

An unrestricted gift allows our senior leadership to determine where your gift will have the greatest impact. You can feel confident that your gift is being utilized where it is most needed.

Endowment Fund

Through the generosity of donors and their families, Plymouth Place is proud to walk life's journey alongside all of our residents. The Endowment Fund is in place so that no permanent resident will be asked to leave if they outlive their means. Charitable support is carried out in a confidential manner, honoring the dignity and respect of all residents. Supporters of the Endowment Fund often view it as an opportunity to pay forward the quality care that they or their loved ones experience at Plymouth Place.

Elvira Teuffer Scholarship Program

Founded through a generous bequest, the Elvira Teuffer Scholarship Program is just one of the ways Plymouth Place is able to honor and support our hard-working associates as they look to further their education. Whether it's college courses, training programs, or group in-services hosted in our new John and Barbara Easter Learning Center, this program enriches the lives and futures of our associates.

Spiritual Care

Through our dedicated Chaplains, Plymouth Place is able to minister to the spiritual and emotional needs of our residents and staff. Respecting and honoring all faith traditions is central to our Chaplains' ministry of care, and this ministry is available through the generous support of donors. Consider a Memorial or Tribute gift to support this vital piece of the Plymouth Place experience.

Employees Helping Employees Program

Our employees are a critical component to the outstanding lifestyle and care provided at Plymouth Place, and we know that they have lives beyond their work. For times when our associates may need extra help due to a financial crisis, Plymouth Place developed the Employees Helping Employees Emergency Fund. Contributions to the fund are primarily made by our associates.

Business Philanthropy

We understand that the investment of a company's resources is a big decision. We also recognize finding a good fit with an organization's values and mission means one size doesn't fit all. As a premier Lifeplan Community, Plymouth Place offers customized and meaningful partnership opportunities with businesses who are looking to make an impact in their community.

Special Projects

Each year, Plymouth Place advances our mission through special projects within our community or in collaboration with broader community partners. Recent special projects have included the purchase of technology to keep our residents safe and secure, specialized culinary equipment to support the dining experience, and the installation of a putting green to enhance outdoor fitness opportunities. To learn more about current projects or discuss an idea that is meaningful to you, contact Paddy Homan, Senior Director of Philanthropy, at 708.557.6678 or phoman@plymouthplace.org.
